Renegade Girls: Coed and Girls Only Making and Tinkering
We inspire kids to love tinkering and making! We learn by doing and think with our hands, building, trying, designing, repeating. Girls face unique challenges in STEM fields, and the club was created to encourage them in a supportive, safe environment centered on community building and lots and lots of fun! We added coed and boys' programming to teach our future allies and coworkers. Every child's contribution is valuable and deserves to be heard!
In 2017, we opened RG Boys Tinkering Club, welcoming our future allies and coworkers. Our RG boys have their own section of our tinkering and making camps. They experience what makes Renegade Girls such a great environment for the hundreds of young engineers, scientists, and mathematicians who have joined us for summer camps and after school programs.
